This notice covers theunburied.org. It is short because we collect very little.

Who we are

This site is run by the co-creators of When Two Meet, a television series in development. The Unburied is a fictional organization from that series. You can reach us at development@whentwomeet.com.

What we collect

If you ask to be notified, we keep your email address, the date you signed up, and the page you used (this site). We do not ask for your name. If you fill in nothing, we collect nothing.

When seeds can be planted, planting one keeps your email address, your two confirmations (that you are 16 or older, and that you understand The Unburied is fictional), the Seed Code we send you, and the date.

The Portal

The Portal, where seeds enter and take on tasks, is in private preview. Its full notice will be on this page before it opens to everyone. In short:

• Signing in sets one cookie. It is strictly necessary, keeps you signed in for at most 30 days after your last visit, and is never used to track you.
• The Portal keeps your stage, your tasks and what you submit for them.
• Photos are optional. We remove their location and camera data before they are stored, and only you and the Club can see them.
• The Club, the small team that runs the campaign, reviews what you submit.
• All of it is kept until you delete your seed or the campaign ends. In your Profile you can download your data, or delete your seed and everything with it, photos included.

Why we use it

To write to you about The Unburied campaign and the series: first, when the first seeds can be planted. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. Every newsletter lets you unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your seed whenever you like.

Who else sees it

The company that hosts our server and the service we use to send email handle your address on our behalf, only to run this site and deliver our emails. We never sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies and tracking

• These pages set no cookies. Only signing in to the Portal does (see above).
• There are no analytics, no trackers, no ads and no social-media pixels.
• Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Our server keeps no access logs. It never writes down your IP address or browser details. To slow down abuse, it counts requests from each address for a minute or so, in memory only.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the campaign ends, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Write to development@whentwomeet.com from the address you signed up with. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data-protection authority.

Age

Please don’t sign up if you are under 16.

Changes

If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
